Being a fan of OK GO since I first met them at a concert (all very nice guys) I just had to choose this video to share. Being known for one take music videos, their video for "This Too Shall Pass" is especially impressive. A giant Rube Goldburg machine that continues for the full three minutes and fifty-three seconds of their song, even playing the notes at some points, is an incredible feet of hobby engineering. Anyone who has actually attempted to build one of these types of machines knows how difficult it is to make one work all the way through as planned, and as is evident by the appearance of the band throughout, it took many takes to get right, nearly sixty over the span of two days as recalled by director James Frost of Zoo Films, the producers of the video. The machine was built for the video by Syyn Labs of Los Angeles and features no digital modification what so ever.
